Steven Westra

Steven Westra is the President of Hegg Hospitality. His duties consist of the direction and oversight of all hotel properties. In addition, Steve is the chief operating officer of Hegg Companies, Inc. where he is responsible for business acquisitions and development activities. Prior to joining Hegg Companies, Steve spent 16 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He also has experience in government and previously served as the District 13 representative for the South Dakota Legislature and Assistant Majority Leader.

Steve provides Hegg Hospitality with invaluable experience in management strategy, brand building and workforce development. He has strong acumen in business operations, human resources, state government and development. Steve excels at recognizing business priorities and maximizing the performance of the business and the development of people.
